Instituto Ida - Instituto Brasiliense De Direito Aplicado

The Institute was founded by Luiz Carlos Bettiol in 2011 to support and develop research on the most relevant legal topics in the areas of regulation (energy, oil and gas, mining and telecommunications), tax law and civil litigation. The NGO counts with highly qualified and specialised lawyers from Brasília and other states in Brazil. It has promoted relevant debates and workshops concerning natural resources and law, with the participation of public authorities, regulators, judges, lawyers and regulated industries. Its past events included important discussions on water-energy nexus, regulatory framework of oil and gas and institutional reforms.
